Overview
At the Bakan Site operated by PT J Resources Asia Pacific Tbk, located in Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, North Sulawesi, geotechnical conditions require continuous and reliable monitoring to support safe mining operations. The site’s geotechnical focus is primarily on understanding subsurface behavior, particularly related to pore water pressure and ground response.
To ensure these parameters are monitored effectively, a system capable of delivering accurate, real-time, and centralized data was required to support operational awareness and geotechnical risk management.
What We Support
TeAM implemented a geotechnical monitoring solution focused on pore water pressure and ground condition monitoring at the Bakan Site. The system utilizes Vibrating Wire Piezometers connected to data loggers and a gateway to enable continuous data acquisition and real-time transmission.
By integrating sensors, data loggers, and communication gateways into a unified monitoring ecosystem, the solution provides reliable visibility into subsurface conditions. This enables early identification of potential geotechnical changes, supports proactive risk mitigation, and enhances decision-making related to slope stability and ground safety.
