Overview
At the Lampunut Plant, located in Muara Tuhup, Central Kalimantan, Adaro Maruwai Coal faced several monitoring challenges that impacted both operational efficiency and safety. Monitoring activities were previously fragmented, reliant on manual data collection, and lacked real-time visibility—making it difficult to detect early signs of ground movement and coordinate timely responses. The absence of an integrated system also limited the ability to consolidate and analyze geospatial data effectively across departments.
What We Support
To overcome these issues, we de
ployed a modern monitoring solution combining robotic total stations with the Trimble 4D Control server for automated, centralized, and continuous geotechnical monitoring. To further strengthen system reliability and data continuity, we integrated Settop M1 and Octohub units to ensure data transmission remains uninterrupted—even during power outages—by providing a secure and independent communication layer. This setup not only enhances real-time decision-making and slope stability management, but also supports a more resilient and future-ready monitoring ecosystem for Adaro Maruwai Coal.
