Slope Monitoring 2025

Slope Monitoring Telemetry

Overview

The Ulubelu geothermal site, operated by Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE), faces significant geotechnical challenges due to the presence of multiple landslide-prone areas surrounding critical infrastructure. The site’s steep slopes and complex geological conditions have led to frequent slope instabilities, posing potential risks to high-pressure geothermal pipelines and power generators that are essential for energy production.

To mitigate these risks, PT Telematika Aset Monitoring has implemented an advanced geotechnical monitoring system to provide real-time data on slope movement and ground stability. This proactive approach ensures early warning and informed decision-making, helping to safeguard infrastructure, maintain operational continuity, and enhance overall safety at the Ulubelu geothermal facility.

What We Support

Implementing a geotechnical monitoring system at Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) Ulubelu involved deploying rotary extensometers, inclinometer casing pipes, and in-place inclinometers (10m) to detect ground movement in landslide-prone areas. Wire extensometers and cable extra systems further enhanced displacement monitoring, ensuring early risk detection for critical infrastructure.

To enable wireless, long-range data collection, the system integrates Loadsensing Gateway, Analog 4-Channel, Digital Logger, and VW 5-Channel for seamless data transmission. The Dashboard 4D platform, with over 100 monitoring sensors, provides real-time visualization, automated alerts, and indepth analytics, ensuring proactive decision-making in the challenging geothermal environment.
