VW 3D Crack Meter VWTCM-4600
The VWTCM-4600 Vibrating Wire 3D Crack Meter is designed to measure displacement across structural cracks in three orthogonal directions. Because it captures X, Y, and Z movements, the instrument provides a complete picture of structural deformation. This makes it especially valuable for dams, tunnels, retaining walls, heritage buildings, and any structure where multi-axis monitoring is critical.
The system uses a vibrating wire transducer, ensuring long-term accuracy, stability, and excellent performance in harsh environments. Since it offers reliable readings even with long cables or high electrical noise, it is suitable for large-scale monitoring networks. Additionally, the sensor is fully compatible with automated data loggers, enabling continuous real-time monitoring with minimal intervention.
Thanks to its compact design, the VWTCM-4600 is easy to install on uneven or irregular crack surfaces. It also allows engineers to detect subtle displacements before they evolve into major structural issues. As a result, the instrument supports proactive maintenance, risk reduction, and safer infrastructure operations.
